Mining Matters Forum Wollongong 2011
The NSW Minerals Council, as part of its Mining Matters series, hosted a Forum in Wollongong in February 2011, NSW: A Mining State.
Hosted by NSW Minerals Council CEO Dr Nikki Williams, the panel included Illawarra Business Chamber CEO Greg Fisher, St George Illawarra Dragons CEO Peter Doust and economic consultant Alan Smart.
The panel discussed the mining industry's place in the history of the Illawarra, its role in the region and its future contribution to economic growth and investment in NSW.
