The mining industry is continually looking for ways to increase its level of participation and support for local communities through a range of initiatives. Funding is one way in which mining companies demonstrate their commitment to the betterment of the local communities. There are numerous examples of the ways that mining companies provide support to local programs and organisations, sponsoring groups and initiatives across a variety of fields.
Here is just a taste of the many areas in which the NSW mining industry gets involved in its local communities. For more detailed information about our member companies’ community initiatives, we suggest you visit their individual websites links which are provided in the About Us- Our Members section of this website.
