Environment and Community Excellence Awards

The Environment and Community Excellence Awards are a key part of the annual NSWMC Environment and Community Conference. The objectives of the Awards are to recognise leadership in the minerals industry through projects that demonstrate a proven commitment to responsible environmental management and community engagement.

The annual Excellence Awards showcase the industry’s commitment to making a positive contribution to the community and meeting or exceeding the public’s expectations and strict government regulations for environmental management.

Environment and Community Excellence Awards 2010

The 2010 Excellence Awards were presented by NSW Minerals Council CEO, Dr Nikki Williams, on the 21st September at the Environment and Community Conference in Wollongong.

An independent panel of judges decided on the winners.
