Careers in Mining Dinners
|
|
Do you want a cool career in mining?
Do you want to know more about the possible careers in the mining industry?
Are you about to chose your Year 11 or Year 12 subjects but don't know what to study?
Are you hoping to go to university but don't know what to study?
Do you want the opportunity to speak one-on-one to mining and university professionals and graduates?
Your questions can be answered at one of the NSW Minerals Council's Careers in Mining dinners.
If you are a student in Year 10 - 12, a parent or a teacher then we invite you to attend one of the NSW Minerals Council's Careers in Mining dinners. A valuable evening which provides an appetiser for those considering enrolment in minerals related courses, or indeed for those who are undecided about their career and/or university options.
An intimate and unique opportunity to hear first-hand from undergraduates and graduates in mining related courses about their chosen career pathways, their experiences both at university and in the industry, as well as the variety of career opportunities available in the minerals industry in NSW and globally. There will also be a chance to speak one-on-one to university staff and representatives from local mining companies and to ask your questions.
In 2012, we are expanding our Careers in Mining dinners to even more regions so save the date and don't miss out. Invites will be emailed to schools in February 2012, however, if you wish to find out more information in the meantime, please contact Chrissie Clarke on email education@nswmin.com.au or phone 02 9274 1400.
